A team from the Philippine Embassy in Ankara, Turkey served over 40 Filipinos in Izmir, Turkey marking its first-ever consular mission in the area. On its two-day consular outreach from 13-14 December 2019, the team rendered 30 ePassport services (26 passports renewed, 2 new applications and 2 passports released); 14 Embassy IDs (13 Embassy ID applications and 1 Embassy ID released), 10 notarizations, 4 civil registrations (3 Reports of Birth and 1 Report of Marriage).

The consular mission was also an opportunity for Philippine Ambassador Raul S. Hernandez to have a meeting with the newly established Filipino Community in Izmir (FCI) led by its President Ms. Nenita Clemente. END
