A team from the Philippine Embassy in Ankara, Turkey, served nearly 60 Filipinos in Antalya, Turkey, in a consular mission and overseas voting field registration held on 19 June 2021.
The team processed 19 ePassport renewal services; 10 notarizations; 5 civil registrations (4 Reports of Marriage and 1 Report of Birth); 16 overseas voting transactions; and 1 Embassy ID application. It also handled 3 Assistance-to-Nationals inquiries.
Filipinos in Antalya warmly welcomed the Embassy team’s visit, more than a year from the last mission held in May 2019, and the first since the Turkish Government eased restrictions to curb the spread of COVID-19 in the country from 1 June 2021. In the interest of public health, safety protocols were observed including social distancing and wearing of masks throughout the mission’s conduct. END
