TBILISI 09 September 2021 – The Philippine Embassy in Ankara, Turkey. provided consular and overseas registration services to the Filipino community in Tbilisi, Georgia on 4 September 2021.

Ambassador Maria Elena P. Algabre, who had presented her credentials to Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili at the Orbeliani Presidential Palace in Tbilisi the previous day, met with the Filipino community members in Georgia to reassure them of the Embassy’s support, in coordination with the Philippine Consulate General in Tbilisi headed by Philippine Honorary Consul General Teimuraz Chichinadze.

There are reported to be 20 overseas Filipinos in Georgia, comprised mostly of professionals in the fields of architecture, energy, and the service industry. ##
