ANKARA 25 November 2021 — The Philippine Embassy in Ankara kick-started its participation in the Philippines’ yearly campaign to End Violence Against Women (VAW) with a Beginner’s Watercolor Painting Workshop last 24 November at the Sentro Rizal Ankara.

Mr. Jonal Buenafe, a Filipino artist based in Turkey, led the workshop on basic watercolor painting.  Embassy personnel painted their chosen symbols in support of the 18-Day End-VAW Campaign, and wore pins/ribbon in bright orange, the color representing hope and a future free from violence against women and girls.
