ANKARA 07 January 2022 – Ms. Jee Urot, a kababayan based in Istanbul and originally from Cebu, is the first featured talent for 2022 at the Artist’s Corner of the Philippine Embassy in Ankara.
Ms. Urot’s sketch artworks are displayed for public viewing, including the showpiece, “Suffering World,” inspired by the continuing pandemic.

Ms. Urot began her hobby of drawing and painting when she was only eight years old, using sticks to draw human figures and anime style. With the onset of the pandmic, she further honed her skills in realism sketching. For Ms. Urot, art signifies passion for expressing deep thoughts and feelings.
