IZMIR, 12 December 2022 — The Philippine Embassy in Ankara conducted a consular mission in Izmir on 09 December 2022. The Embassy team, led by Minister and Consul General Juan E. Dayang, Jr., provided various consular services to Filipinos, including passport applications and renewals, processing of reports of birth and marriage, notarial, and dual citizenship applications.

During the mission, the Embassy also held a “Kapihan ng Embahada” in Izmir, a meeting to have a dialogue with Filipinos and provide them with important updates from the Philippines, including the start of the overseas absentee voting period for the mid-term elections in 2025.

The consular outreach in Izmir is part of the Embassy’s ongoing mandate to bring efficient and timely consular services closer to Filipinos in Türkiye outside Ankara who are unable to travel to the Embassy.
