Further to its announcement dated 30 March 2022, the Embassy of the Philippines in Turkey would like to inform all Filipinos in Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Georgia that it will implement POSTAL VOTING for the 2022 Philippine National Elections.

 

DISTRIBUTION OF BALLOTS TO THE REGISTERED VOTERS

Ballots will be mailed, beginning 10 April 2022, to the registered addresses of the voters whose names are found in the Certified List of Voters (CLOV).

Overseas Voters who have incomplete addresses/with addresses c/o the Embassy, or wish to change their addresses, are requested to send an email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. on or before 08 April 2022.

 

FOR VOTERS WHO WISH TO PICK UP THEIR BALLOTS FROM THE EMBASSY

Those who wish to pick up their ballots personally from the Embassy must inform us by email at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. on or before 08 April 2022, otherwise the ballots will be mailed to voters with complete COMELEC-registered addresses in the succeeding weeks.

Voters who have expressed their interest to personally pick up their ballots from the Embassy may pick up their ballots from 10–25 April 2022.

 

FOR VOTERS WHO WISH TO PICK UP THEIR BALLOTS DURING CONSULAR MISSIONS

HOW TO FILL OUT THE BALLOTS

Kindly see the attached file containing COMELEC’s step-by-step Postal Voting Guide for Overseas Voters using the Manual Official Ballot.

FOR TURKEY: Bring the return envelope containing the filled-out ballot to any branch of MNG Kargo, a courier service. MNG Kargo will send the filled-out ballots to the Embassy free-of-charge to the voter.

 

The voter may also personally hand carry their filled-out ballots back to the Embassy.

The Embassy will be open from Mondays to Fridays, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 April to 09 May 2022 at 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The following should be observed and complied with:

  • Only the concerned voter is allowed to pick-up or submit her/his filled-out ballot. No representatives are permitted.
  • The voter should present her/his valid passport or ID for identification.
  • The voter should bring her/his own pen if she/he wishes to fill out the ballot in the Embassy.
  • Due to the limited space in the Embassy, escorts are NOT allowed inside the Embassy premises.

FOR AZERBAIJAN AND GEORGIA: Send the return envelope containing the ballot to the Embassy. Afterwards, send an email to the Embassy and attach a copy of the receipt of your mailing transactions and your bank account details for reimbursement.

Please be mindful that the voting period will END on Sunday, 9 May 2022, at 2:00 PM (Turkey Time). Filled-out ballots received after the deadline will not be included in the counting.
